While it's not my favorite Mexican Restaurant in the greater Modesto Area, it's my favorite in Oakdale, where I live.The food and service is always good. And the menu has many choices, which I like.

Huge selection of traditional Mexican food. Big portions and pretty tasty. The Carnitasand Mojarra were both great.

Take out order, I requested flour tortillas. When the waitress handed me the bag, I ask again, flour tortillas. She said yes. I got home, no tortillas, the dinner was not very good either

Great Chile Rellenos! Salsa is fantastic!

It was our first time there. My wife had the shrimp and scallop fajitas and she loved every bite of them and I could only afford to have the senior special because both of us can't afford expensive meals. That's what happens when you retire and are bored and are living on a fixed income. Service was nice and we would possibly go back again the next time we're in Oakdale California United States of America

Stopped in during a road trip. Service was good, our waitress was friendly and had our food to us quickly! Food was okay. Some of it was not all the way warmed through and my enchilada didn't taste freshly made. I'd probably give it another chance because the flavor was there. Maybe it was just an off or busy day.

We have been coming here to eat once or twice monthly, for years! The food and service, is ALWAYS terrific and, you are served a lot for the money...which we find, is moderately priced. The sports bar part of the restraunt, is tops and, extremely relaxing. If you love good quality and variety of Mexican dishes, cooked and made the way YOU like, and/or...you love watching sports surrounded by great sports memorabilia in a friendly atmosphere, Javi's will soon become a favorite.

Great mexican food in oakdale, they have huge margaritas.! Food is awesome! Service is not very personal but they are polite. They have big screens in the back for sports.

Nice environment with lots of TVs and that’s it. Food was mediocre at best. The food is way over priced for the quality. It takes a bit to get service so make sure you give yourself lots of time. I know it’s a Mexican restaurant but it’s also a sports bar/restaurant. It would be nice to have sports bar food available at least at the bar.

Food is decent but price is insanely high. Paid 40 dollars for a chimichanga that is half the size of every other chimi I've ever seen in my life and a plate of cheap chicken pieces with cream sauce rice and beans. This was carry out with no drinks or extras. Will not return based on prices
